PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Approached directly by the team at 'MillK - the Film Content Company' after wowing them as a freelancer, I was brought on board full-time as a Production Assistant.

My time at MillK was pivotal in developing my understanding of the industry, working with like-minded creatives and. hard workers on high-budget Advertising and Promotional productions, as well as Documentary projects.

My role was highly spontaneous and required tenacity, teamwork, and problem-solving. One minute helping develop pitch decks for clients, or creating Call-Sheets, and the next I'd be behind the camera as an operator or assistant, or helping to rig Lighting, utilizing my eye for cinematography and understanding of industry-grade equipment.

I could also be found in the JAR Post Editing offices, working with Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve to create fast-paced and engaging BTS products for our team's Social Media.

CAMERA OPERATOR

Immediately after graduation, I delved into the world of freelancing, working as a Camera Operator and Assistant for a variety of agencies, ranging from Advertising to Live Events and Broadcasting.

Working across the country with a variety of DOPs and Operators allowed me to build a greater knowledge of the craft, with the ability to learn on Cameras such as the Blackmagic Ursa, Panasonic Varicam, and RED Dragon (to name a few) whilst Operating, Rigging, Focus-Pulling and building Lighting for each set.

Being able to experience and work closely with seasoned crew members allowed me to quickly build my understanding of film-making etiquette, and how the Production is run. Even as the Camera crew, I'd be watching each department closely where possible to understand each part of the film-making team.
